The Head of the French Department of the University of Debrecen got an award from the Academy Order of Palm of the Rrench Republic.

The doctoral candidates of the University of Debrecen and the University of Oradea participated in a joint regional development research work.

Four, single labour rooms were handed over in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (MHSC). The rooms are separate, with en-suite bathrooms, furnished with cozy furniture and the most modern birthing beds.

Doctors, habilitated doctors, honorary doctors and professor emerituses were awarded at the weekend in the University of Debrecen.

The Medical and Health Science Center of the University of Debrecen has announced an international annual prize in molecular medicine “Debrecen Award for Molecular Medicine” offered to encourage and recognize extraordinary and sustained contributions to biomedical research.

The Institute of Nuclear Research has been expanded by a unique pharmaceutical laboratory. The equipment is able to detect if a medicine causes life-threatening cardiac arrhythmia.

The government has ordered budgetary superintendents to some universities and other institutions. Some of them is under examination with immediate effect, others only from the first day of next year. The University of Debrecen belongs to the latter group.

They commemorated the 15th anniversary of the re-foundation of the Faculty of Law at a ceremonial council meeting. Honors were handed over at the event.

The University of Debrecen will host the VII. Hungarian Conservation Conference between 3-6 November. More than 350 professionals from all over the country came to Debrecen to participate.

In recognition of the modern IT infrastructure and the user-friendly services, the University and National Library of the University of Debrecen received the title of “Certified Library” this year.
