The University of Debrecen organized a doctoral ceremony on Saturday, June 5, in the courtyard of the main building of the institution. The event, which began at 11 a.m., was private, but it could be followed on video. Here is the list of doctors:
Ten Hungarian universities are listed this year in ShanghaiRanking Consultancy’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS), which grades almost 2,000 institutions from 93 countries, the Innovation and Technology Ministry said. “The Fudan University affair is our first step in reclaiming Hungary from those in power,” Budapest Mayor Gergely Karácsony said at a demonstration against the establishment of a local campus of China’s Fudan University in front of Parliament on Saturday.
We will stop the planned Fudan investment in district IX. and stand up in all cases where the government will represent the 1 per cent privileged interest instead of the 99 per cent – said Gergely Karácsony, co-chair of Párbeszéd party, mayor of Budapest.

The head of the Sports Science Coordination Institute of the University of Debrecen presented the effects of physical activity on the nervous system at a presentation by the Senior University.
Ákos Pintér, Deputy Rector, presented outstanding working awards and rector’s certificates to the staff of the University of Debrecen. György Csécsy, a professor at ÁJK, also received his ministerial recognition at the ceremony held in the Courtyard.
Depression, robotic psychology and the vision of cats were discussed, among other things, at a conference on neuroscientific contexts initiated by the University of Debrecen in the framework of NeurotechEU.
Last month, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary consulted the leadership of the UD on the issues of educational and research cooperation projects between our university and institutions of higher education in Kazakhstan as well as increasing the number of Kazakh students enrolled at UD.
The practical instruction of aircraft specialization, which is to be launched within the basic program in Vehicle Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the UD, is going to be assisted in the future by the cooperation between our institution and AEROPLEX of Central Europe Ltd.
