Police against prostitution
Local police takes consistent action against prostitutes who are offering their “services” to pedestrians and drivers in the protected area of Nagyerdo (Pallagi, Kurta and Moricz Zsigmond streets) and the Main road 4 area.
Stolen blood pressure gauges and perpetrators
At 11:43 on the 25/02/2010 two men stole two OMRON type blood pressure gauges -diverting the sellers attention- from a Bethlen street health care institution.
He tried to withdraw money with a banned card!
The owner received an SMS notification that somebody has tried to withdraw money from his bank account with the use of his lost credit card.
Cannabis in the cottage
Police seized 140 marihuana plants on the 1st of April in a Bocskaikert house. The police has initiated pre-trial detention of the 38 years old owner.
Police investigation against armed robbers
The 20-25 years old suspects committed armed robberies in recent months in Debrecen. Each time they wore hoodies and scarfs to cover their faces when they entered little grocery stores. Many times they have left the scenes by bikes.
ATM theft attempt in downtown
At 02:07 am on 30 March 2010 came the announcement to Debrecen Police that some unknown persons tried to steal the ATM from the Unicredit Bank which is located on the Kalvin square next to the Big Church.
Suicide at Debrecen-Józsa
A middle-aged woman hanged herself to an electric pylon on Tuesday, 30th of March 2010 at Debrecen-Józsa.
Police is looking for the owner of the stolen GPS and transmitter
Police arrested a 27years old man early morning on the 10th of February who tried to steal a satnav system from a parking SUV in Nagyerdei boulevard. His 29 years old companion was captured later that day.
Drug party
The police were informed that people was gathering in Dioszegi street to consume drugs. There was a private venue ongoing in a closed site of the street. The entry went under strict security it means only those could enter who phoned the organizers.
