The Criminal Department of the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters is conducting proceedings against a woman from Hajdúböszörmény due to the well-founded suspicion of attempted murder.
Based on the data of the investigation so far, the suspect intentionally caused a fire in their family home on the morning of September 1, 2023, knowing that her children were also inside. Her 19-year-old daughter and 25-year-old son suffered burns in the fire.
The authority detained the 52-year-old woman and made a motion for her arrest, which was ordered by the District Court of Debrecen on September 4, 2023, on the recommendation of the prosecution.
