An Israeli and a Hungarian national wanted in connection with crimes committed in Hungary were arrested thanks to international cooperation, the official website of the Hungarian police said.
An Israeli national suspected of setting fire to an apartment in Kaposvár, southern Hungary, in 2018, was arrested in Israel on February 17, 2021. The fire killed two people, police.hu said. A Hungarian woman sentenced to prison for robbery in 2017, who escaped after the first instance ruling, was arrested on April 9 in Austria.
