The Debrecen Zoo gives home to a number of exotic plant and animal species that require relatively high ambient temperatures all year round, provided by our indoor exhibits in wintertime.
The indoor section of the Africa Aviary, for instance, now houses our ibises, storks, and crowned cranes as well as our impressive collection of pineapple palms and Chinese windmill palms that you can encounter throughout the Park during the rest of the year.
