David Nájera, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mexico in Hungary visited Debrecen on 19 October 2017.
László Papp, mayor of Debrecen hosted David Nájera. He presented the New Phoenix plan to Nájera in a meeting, where it was also mentioned that the Mexican diplomat would help the cooperation between Debrecen and Toluca. The two cities are twin cities since 2015.
