David Kostelancik visited László Papp, mayor of Debrecen on 18 September 2017.
David Kostelancik, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service of the United States, rank of Minister Counselor, is Deputy Chief of Mission, U.S. Embassy Budapest, Hungary, came to Debrecen to discuss economic development and education. A meeting was held on 18 September, where László Papp presented Kostelanick Debrecen’s future investments, like the Southern Industrial Site and the International School of Debrecen. It was also emphasized that the local government is intended to support the activities of the American Corner Debrecen.
László Papp mentioned that it was extremely important for him and the local government to maintain a good relationship with the American partners. Kostelancik said that he would visit Debrecen as soon as he could.
