Hungary’s tourism sector is “enjoying a golden age”, the head of the Hungarian Tourism Agency said, arguing that the sector had never been as well funded as it is now.

The average gross wage for full-time workers in Hungary grew by an annual 11.5% to 358,876 forints in August, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said.
