Popular water tourist routes, such as routes on the Danube, on Tisza River, on Lake Balaton or on Lake Velence, are supported by two billion forints given by the European Union.
Thanks to the GINOP project, new stops will be built near the rivers and lakes and new, more modern equipment will be bought from the money. There will be eleven new stops built in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, three in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County and one in Hajdú-Bihar near the Tisza.
