A 41-year-old man called the police from his Debrecen apartment yesterday to report finding his roommate dead in the living room. Upon inspection, police determined that the man’s death was caused by alienation.
According to a statement from the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters, the caller and the victim had been drinking together before getting into an argument and physical altercation. The 42-year-old victim sustained fatal injuries.
In connection with the incident, the 41-year-old man, who is a resident of Nyíregyháza, was apprehended, questioned as a suspect, and taken into custody. The police have launched an investigation into the crime of causing death by bodily harm.
