The Criminal Division of the Debrecen Police Department initiated proceedings against a resident of Hajdúhadháza due to the well-founded suspicion of committing the crime of looting. According to the investigation, the suspect stole a phone from the pocket of a man sleeping on a bench in downtown Debrecen at dawn on October 16, 2022. Following the victim’s report, the police arrested the suspected perpetrator on the same day, who was taken into criminal custody after being questioned as a suspect.
