Péter Jakab has resigned as the leader of the conservative Jobbik party.
Jakab made the announcement on social media on Wednesday evening. “It is now obvious that the new leadership is not aligned with the party membership,” he said. Jakab pledged to carry on working in his capacity as leader of the Jobbik parliamentary group.
