Investigators questioned a doctor in Debrecen and his patient as suspects.
Based on the report of the National Defense Service, the Economic Protection Department of the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters ordered an investigation into the acceptance of a bribe and the suspicion of a bribe offense. On reasonable suspicion, the patient handed over the money to his doctor.
The 52-year-old doctor and his 67-year-old patient were arrested by police on 28 January 2022 and then questioned as suspects. During the proceedings, they can both defend themselves freely.
