German delegation in Debrecen
The delegation of the University of Leipzig is working on an IT cooperation. They want to involve the University of Debrecen and Oradea into the project. They visited Debrecen and Oradea on the 10-11 of August 2010.
2010 Summer University
More than 200 foreign students took part in their programmes. A total of 230 students from 42 countries /mostly from Germany, France, USA, Italy but there were students from the Philippines, Japan, Korea, Mexico and Thailand as well/ learnt Hungarian during the month long courses.
One quarter of the graduates could not receive their degree
24% of the graduates of the University of Debrecen could not receive diploma in the abscence of a language exam in 2010.
Reducing the shortage of qualified personnel
The Medical and Health Science Center of the University of Debrecen won 48 million HUF in July to hire more staff – Gyorgy Parragh declared on 4th of August.

Thousands Graduating This Summer
Graduation season proceeds with full vigor; almost 3400 students are to receive their degrees this summer at the University of Debrecen.

Club for professors
Conference center, club for professors, Medical library, and medical-history collection – all in one place inside the recently renovated building of the Medical Centre of University of Debrecen. The club got open on 9th of June 2010.
