Deputy Rector Elek Bartha represented the University of Debrecen at a meeting organized for the leaders of the universities participating in the NeuortechEU project in early October in Germany. The initiative was also joined by the European campus of an American institution.
At the University of Debrecen, the salaries of 4,075 employees performing basic higher education activities and services will increase by up to 80 percent in some positions, the institution’s press office informed MTI of the decision of the Board of Trustees of the Count István Tisza Foundation for the University of Debrecen.

The Faculty of Child and Adult Education is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary. During the ceremony organized on the occasion of the anniversary, a relief was inaugurated in honor of the founder of the institution, György Kovács, and a time capsule was placed in front of the faculty building.
