Hungary’s opposition alliance is filing a criminal complaint concerning Speaker of Parliament László Kövér’s recently leaked remarks made a year and half ago before secret services leaders, Párbeszéd group leader Tímea Szabó said on Tuesday.

In his address at the Planet Budapest 2021 sustainability expo, President János Áder highlighted Hungary as one of ten European Union countries to have reduced carbon-dioxide emissions by over 30% since 1990.

In the future, animal poisoning will be more severely punished, breeders without a license will be punished more severely, and participation in animal fights will be a criminal offense after Parliament passed an amendment to some of the criminal laws proposed by Fidesz to protect animals.
