Home sales decline by 16% in August
Home sales in Hungary came to 11,945 in August, down 16% from the same month a year earlier, real estate broker Duna House estimated. For the period January-August, home sales were down 3% year-on-year at 102,104.

Public debt at 68.7% of GDP at End-Q2
Hungary’s public debt stood at 68.7% of GDP at the end of June, down from 70.0% of GDP at the end of March, the National Bank of Hungary said concerning preliminary data of Hungary’s financial accounts.
